Would you like a download with your latte?

Starbucks is launching a “Now Playing” service where customers can purchase and download in real time the songs that are playing in the store. The only catch is that you need an iPhone, iPod touch, or your laptop (iTunes)I love the idea, however, what about the customers that don’t spend endless hours at Starbucks with their laptops and iPhones? When I make my coffee run I’m usually in and out. Occasionally I hear a song I like and check out the CD.
It’s too bad this service isn’t available via Bluetooth which my phone (Sony Ericsson W810i) supports. I understand why the two brands decided to work together, however, as a Starbucks customer I feel a bit alienated. It’s high school all over again.
